Country singers Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood own a bar in Nashville, and are handing over a whole day of business to Dolly’s books, the name of Dolly Parton’s literacy project.
This is taking place on 29th September or, with Americans doing dates wrong, 9/25 or 9 25.
They are not just doing it this year though, they are making this an annual event.
Something to Sing About Productions, New York City’s premiere Buffy The Vampire Slayer tribute company, is producing multiple fundraisers in honor ofDolly Parton, who was an uncredited producer of the TV show.
They will be starting with Homecoming, the fifth episode of season three of the show, which will be performed next month, and this will be followed, in November, with Once More, With Feeling: Live!, which will also be a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the musical episode first being broadcast.
